2025 Civil Code Order Forms Now Available

Civil Code Section 798.15 requires park management to provide homeowners with a copy of a current Civil Code (Mobilehome Residency Law) by February 1 of each year or provide a written notice to homeowners that there has been a substantial change to the Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL).

Mobilehome Park and Special Occupancy Park Local Enforcement Agency Assumption Process
By Department of Housing and Community Development

Information Bulletin 2022-12 is issued pursuant to Senate Bill 1307 (Chapter 669, Statutes of 2022) and informs interested parties of the process for a city, county, or city and county to assume enforcement responsibility for the Mobilehome Parks Act and Special Occupancy Parks Act on behalf of HCD.

Mobilehome Residency Law Protection Program

The Mobilehome Residency Protection Program (MRLPP) was enacted in January 2019. It charges the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to administer the program and begin billing parkowners $10 per permitted space. California Paid Sick Leave: Frequently Asked Questions

As of January 1, 2024, employers must generally provide 5 days or 40 hours of paid sick leave to their employees in California. The Labor Commissioner has updated the paid sick leave poster. All employers should post the new poster. An employer previously providing less than 5 days or 40 hours of paid sick leave per year will need to provide employees a new copy notice.

This year’s theme is “Take a Walk in Your Park — and Discover Community.” We are thinking along the lines of celebrating in your communities, and getting to know your residents even more than you already do. We are asking exhibitors to decorate using this theme. What is it that you do to celebrate and create community? The theme will be festive with a party atmosphere — face-painting, barbecue, balloons, etc. One of our vendors is thinking about “Hollywood in the Clubhouse” as their theme. How fun does that sound?
